so because when you fail the team, you hurt the players on the team.  They in turn bring the hurt of  your failure home with them.  When this happens the whole community is subjected to the aftermath of your inadequacy.
     The community has the right to demand good coaching for their kids sake.

THE SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION.  Your third responsibility is to the school administration.
     When you are hired, you are expected to be competent to do the job. The school administrators have a right to expect full accountability on your part. As an employee of the school, you should behave in a professional manner. Keep the administration informed in all matters concerning the football program.  Full cooperation with the administration will benefit you through enhanced support, brought on by increased awareness on the part of your supervisors.

YOURSELF.  Your last responsibility is to yourself.
As a coach you gain by the success of your program.  Therefor, it must be stated that if you look after the previous stated responsibilities,  you will in effect be looking out for yourself.
