GAME COORDINATION.
Game coordination is purely a coaching matter, each coach is usually responsible for one or more specified tasks. These tasks are anything that streamlines the sidelines action during the course of any game. Sidelines tasks are varied, and range from offensive/ defensive coordination, to equipment repair. Just as the players on the field have to know and execute what is required of them, so do the coaches have to know what is expected of them and effectively carry out all required tasks. If your coaching staff is small , you might have trouble managing all the required sidelines activities necessary for effective game coordination. If this is the case, utilize inactive players to free up the coaching staff for more important matters. When assigning sidelines tasks the minimum required is special teams management. Offensive coordination, Defensive coordination, Injury management, Equipment repair, Stats keeping, and Managing inactive players. Game coordination is important to you because it reduces distractions that might cause you to make mistakes in your game calling.
